Cancellation Policies

Headshot/Portfolio/Business/Engagement shots - Cancellations Policy. Your Headshot/Portfolio/Business/Engagement shots session is possible to cancel with a minimum of 72 hours notice prior to the beginning of your session! Please note that your deposit is 100% non-refundable, but the remainder can be refunded in full, provided a minimum of 72 hours' notice is given. Upon booking your session you will be asked to pay a deposit. This deposit is non-refundable. We take the deposit to secure your booking and the equipment so no one else books your desired time slot. Therefore, if you do need to go ahead and cancel, we sadly cannot refund the deposit. But the deposit isn't necessarily lost provided you wish to amend your booking. You can amend your booking free of charge with a minimum notice of 24 hours! Read our amendment policy below for more information. If you have already paid the outstanding balance and decided to go ahead with a cancellation (thus not amending the session), we will happily refund the outstanding balance back to you. However, the deposit remains non-refundable. (Example: if you've booked Pacckage 2 (1.5-hour headshot session) (£250 - (£25 deposit up front)) and have paid in full. You will receive a refund of £225 if you cancel the booking. Please note that refunds can take 3-5 working days depending on the speed of your bank.

Showreel/Vocal reel - Cancellations Policy. Showreel and vocal reel sessions are possible to cancel with a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to the beginning of your session! Please note that your deposit is non-refundable, but the remainder will be refunded in full, provided you give us a minimum of 72 hours' notice. Upon booking your session you will be asked to pay a deposit. This deposit is non-refundable. We take the deposit to secure your booking and the equipment so no one else books your desired time slot. Therefore, if you do need to go ahead and cancel, we sadly cannot refund the deposit. But the deposit is not lost, provided you wish to amend your booking. You can amend your booking free of charge with a minimum notice of 24 hours! Read our amendment policy below for more information. If you have already paid the outstanding balance and decided to go ahead with a cancellation (thus not amending the session), we will happily refund the outstanding balance back to you. However, the deposit remains non-refundable. (Example: if you've booked the 1.5-hour acting reel session (£195 - (£50 deposit up front)) and have paid in full. You will receive a refund of £145 if you cancel the booking. Please note that refunds can take 3-5 working days, depending on the speed of your bank.

You Film/We Edit & You Record/We Edit - Cancellation Policy Once we receive your files our editors start working, therefore, once we've received the files the packages are non-refundable. You will have a bit of time, as we reach out to you within 24 hours after you place the booking, and before then we can of course cancel your order and refund you in full. If you for whatever reason change your mind after booking. Please contact us as soon as possible, if we haven't begun the edit, we will cancel and refund the order. But once our editors have started their work, there, unfortunately, can't be a refund. Please note that refunds can take 3-5 working days, depending on the speed of your bank.

Wedding photography and videography - Cancellation Policy These packages are bespoke packages. There might therefore be a specific cancelation clause in your contract. Please refer to your contract for specific cases. As a general rule of thumb; deposits are non-refundable. In order to secure your date we take a deposit (which varies depending on your package). This removes the date from our site and prevents any other couple from booking the day. We are therefore unable to refund the deposit once it's paid. If for whatever reason you need to cancel your session with us we can refund the outstanding balance, which usually amounts to 50% of the total cost. But please note for this to be possible we will need at least one week (7 days) notice. If at any point you suspect you need to cancel, do reach out to us as soon as possible. - We will always do our best to assist you! Please be advised that refunds can take 3-5 working days, depending on the speed of your bank.

Bespoke packages (Music video, corporate videos, Live recordings/photos, documentary, etc. - Cancellation Policy Bespoke packages have a specific cancelation clause stated in your contract. Please refer to your contract for specific cases. As a general rule of thumb; deposits are non-refundable. In order to secure your date(s) we take a deposit (which varies depending on your package). This removes the date(s) from our site and prevents any other from booking the day(s). We are therefore unable to refund the deposit once it's paid. Besides blocking the date our production team will already have been doing a great deal of pre-production work at this point, which also is a reason why we cannot offer a refund of the deposit. If for whatever reason you need to cancel your package with us we can refund the outstanding balance, which usually amounts to 50% of the total cost. But please note for this to be possible we will need at least one week (7 days) notice. If at any point you suspect you need to cancel, do reach out to us as soon as possible. - We will always do our best to assist you! Please be advised that refunds can take 3-5 working days, depending on the speed of your bank.

No Show/What if I don't show up? Then, firstly, we will be extremely sad to have missed you! Secondly, you will be marked as a 'no show'. Being marked 'No Show' is not as dangerous as it may sounds, however, it does mean that your booking will be lost and remain non-refundable. There can be many reasons why one wouldn't show up. But no one likes being stood up, including us. Therefore, if we don't hear from you and you don't show up your booking will be lost and you will have to make a new booking and pay in full, in order to secure a new date. But... we do have a very flexible amendment policy, so we'd recommend you call us prior to your booking so we can try to arrange a solution for you rather than you losing your booking! Being marked as a 'no-show' booking doesn't prevent you from booking with us again, you won't be blocked or anything, and there will be no hard feelings.

Amendment Policies

Headshot/Portrait/Portofolio/Business shoot/Engagement Photography - Amendment Policy Out package are amendable! You can reschedule your session once free of charge provided you give a minimum of 24 hours prior to the begining of your session. We understand that life happens, we're all busy and plans can change. You can, therefore, amend your session once free of charge. Once you know that you need to reschedule we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible, so we can open up your original booking-slot to others. Your amendment date will need to be within 2 months of your originally booked date otherwise you'll have to cancel the booking and rebook at a later point. If you requre a different package you can also amend this free of charge, and only pay for the outstanding amout. In order to amend this please reach out to us, and we'll make an updated invoice for you, that way you won't have to pay the deposit twice! Please note that this is subject to availability! - If you wish to upgrade your booking please get in touch, so we can ensure availability and that you're charged the correct amount and don't over pay! It is not possible to downgrade your booking. - If you need to downgrad your booking please cancel your booking in full, and rebook online. Rescheduling within 24 hours of your session: It is not possible to amend within 24 hours of your original bookking time.

Showreel/vocal reels - Amendment Policy Out package are amendable! You can reschedule your session once free of charge provided you give a minimum of 24 hours prior to the begining of your session. You Film/We Edit & You Record/We Edit - Amendment Policy. Once you place the order online you'll find a customisation tap where you can add additional clips.  If you need anything else we ask you to get in touch with us before placing the order, that way we can tailor a package to your need. If you realise that you want to add items after purchasing, please contact us, and we'll try to accomodate your requests. However, this is subject to availability and additional fees.

Wedding Photography & Videography - Amendment Policy. As all packages are tailored to your requests and discussed in detail prior to the contract being presented and signed we don't expect to amend packages after the contract is signed. - Your contract will have an outlined section about cancellations and amendments, so for specific queries, we refer to your contract. We'd like to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, so should you need to change anything after signing the contract, please do get in touch as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. However, please do note that the standard contract is non-amendable. This is because we at this point already may have allocated/booked extra equipment or photographers for you. - But as previously mentioned, please reach out as soon as possible, cause we will always do our utmost to accommodate you and find a suitable solution. Please note that some amendments will result in an additional fee, this could for example be if you choose to opt-in for an additional photographer/videographer (to cover their salary), or if you decide to add another service to the package eg. engagement photography, etc. - But all will be discussed and presented to you in full, so you can make an educated decision. Date amendment: It's rare that one needs to change the date of their wedding, however, life happens and we understand. Date amendments are handled case by case; we cannot promise that an amendment is possible, as these depend on the availability of photographers/videographers, other bookings, equipment availability, etc. If we are available we will offer a date amendment. However, if we are unavailable we will have to consider the booking a cancellation.

If you need to change the date there may be a risk that some parts of your package no longer can be met, for example, an actor may no longer be available, thus we'd have to re-cast or adapt the project accordingly. - We will discuss all of these prior to making any changes. If for whatever reason we are unable to find a new date (for example: if you can only do one specific date, and we're already booked) we will have to consider the booking canceled. We can only offer date amendments once per project.

How do I amend? Any Videography and Bespoke deals including wedding, showreel, and music production: Please contact us as soon as possible. - Either via email on our contact form or via kreacollectivesuk@gmail.com. Headshots/Portraits/Business shoots/engagement shoots:  Provided there are more than 24 hours til your booking starts you can do this online in a matter of seconds. On your booking email: Go to "My Appointments" > select the appointment you wish to amend > scroll to the bottom > click "Reschedule appointment". > You will be taken to our availability calendar, simply click on the available date you wish to amend to. > press confirm. EASY! - You'll receive an email confirming we've received your request right after you press 'confirm'. Shortly after that, you'll receive a confirmation email from us, or an email with further information should that be required, and then you're all set! Payment

Why do I have to pay a deposit? Depending on what you're booking you'll be asked to pay a deposit. Deposits start from £15 By paying a deposit you confirm your booking with us and we can then remove your time slot from our booking site. The deposit secures your booking.

Late payment Payments are usually due 72 hours before your session. In some case it may be closer to your shoot or even after, however, this will be clearly outlined on your invoice. Due dates are always announced both to you via email and clearly marked on your invoice. You will also be receive reminders. (Please check your spam folder). If you fail to pay on time you'll be subject to an additional fee of 10% of the outstanding amount per sarting week (7 days). Meaning, if your outstanding amount is £100, and you miss the payment, you'll be owing Krea Collectives £110 on the first week of the overdue payment. If you still haven't paid by the begining of the second week you will be owing 10% of the 110 meaning £121. etc. The 10% is added per starting week (every 7th day). Luckily we've never had to charge anyone this, so let's keep it that way and ensure all outstanding payments are paid in due time. If you are struggling, please reach out and we can discuss a solution (for example a payment plan)

Can I pay in cash? The deposit can only be paid via Card or PayPal and will be charged upon confirming your booking online. The outstanding balance is usually paid via bank transfer, which you will receive further details about shortly after confirming your booking. However, if you wish to pay the outstanding balance in cash we're happy to accommodate you. Cash payments are possible subject to a prior written agreement with a Krea Collectives representative at least 24 hours before your session starts! (That way you don't have to deal with our annoying emails/calls reminding you of the payment). You will then be asked to pay the outstanding amount to the photographer/producer at the beginning of your session, and we can of course provide a receipt/invoice for this as well. Please bring the accurate amount as we can not offer change. Our creatives do not carry any cash with them to sessions. Please note that wedding photograpy and some bespoke options cannot be paid in cash on the day, this is due to the lager sum of these jobs and for the security of our staff. If you wish to pay cash for a bespoke package, please arrange with a Krea Team member for this minimum 5 days prior to your shoot.

When is the outstanding balance due? This will depend on your package but will always be clearly outlined in the communications you receive after booking. For PHOTOGRAPHY sessions (excluding weddings) and for SHOWREEL packages the outstanding payment is due no later than 72 hours before the beginning of your session unless otherwise agreed in writing with a Krea Collective team member. For WEDDINGS and BESPOKE packages, the remaining balance is usually due two months before the date. However, this will be outlined with a specific date and time on your contract.

Refunds Reunds are subject to cancellation/amendment policies. - However, once you receive an email confirming your refund has been processed it may take 3-5 working days for the funds to appear on your bank account, depending on the speed of your bank.

How to pay for add-ons If you decide to buy additional products, for example, a few additional retouched images you will be invoiced for the agreed services and be asked to pay via bank transfer. We can in some cases also provide a payment link for debit and credit card payments. This can be discussed upon ordering the additional item/service. Please note that payment will need to be received before the product is handed over.

At your session

What should I wear? This is of course completely up to you and will be dependent on your booking. For headshots/portraits/Fashion shoots/Business shoots: After confirming your booking with us you'd receive our complete guide with nifty tips and tricks such as what fabric photographs well, useful styling tips, etc. Generally speaking, textured and simple fabrics photograph well. We highly recommend simple colors and no flashy text or patterns, as we want to keep you in focus and not your outfit. Remember; you're the star, not your outfit.  For showreels:  Bring something appropriate for your character. If it's an acting scene, this should be what the character would wear. If it is for a vocal reel, we suggest, like our headshot guide, that a simple and flattering outfit is chosen. Again, nothing too over the top as we want you to be the focus of the reel, not the outfit.

I don't know how to pose? Our photographers will guide you through the entire session. We will try various set-ups, poses, backdrops, and outfits. So there will be plenty of opportunities to experiment. We pride ourselves on our professional yet friendly and relaxed environment allowing you and us to creat the best pictures in a judgment-free zone. This both bring better results, as you can relax into the session, but it also makes the session way more enjoyable! Our photographers are very friendly, so if you have any questions or concerns before or during the session, please just let us know, so we can adapt accordingly.

What if I'm running late? Try your best to be on time. This way you get the most out of your session. Of course, last-minute issues can happen, and you can run late due to traffic issues and whatnot. We try to be as accommodating as possible, so please give your photographer of the day a ring or send them a text as soon as you know, so we can see if there's anything we can do to help. If we do have availability we'll honor the full session as booked by extending the session by the lost time on the other side (free of charge - though within reason). However, if we have no available slots after your originally booked session, we, unfortunately, will have to cut the session a little shorter and finish according to your booked time slot. NB on location shoots: If you've booked the photographer to come to you or meet you somewhere, again, please call them as soon as you know you're running late. Our photographers will leave the location 30 minutes after your session was supposed to start if they haven't heard from you, and your session will be marked as a 'no show' and thus subject to being charged in full.

What if my photographer is late? This shouldn't happen, but of course traffic issues, etc. can happen to a photographer as well. Luckily, we've never been late to a session so far! But, if against our expectations they are late, they will of course advise you as soon as possible and will extend the session on the other side to make up for lost time, provided you're available. If the session for whatever reason cannot be extended a solution will be found specific to your case. The photographer will reach out to you after the session and arrange a solution.

How do I find your studio? We're in north London, Harringay. Only about a 5 min walk from Harringay station. or 15 minutes walk from Turnpike Lane tube station (Picadilly line). You will receive further information upon confirming your booking

What if your gear doesn't meet my requests? If you require equiptment we don't have we will of course advice as soon as we start discussing the project. Depending on the size of the project we may hire additional gear, or we may be bringing in additional manpower with the equiptment.

Post-production & galleries

Photography

When do I receive my gallery (Photoshoots) It can vary a bit depending on the number of sessions we have on the day, however, you usually receive the gallery link within 24 hours of finishing your session. But, please do allow up to 3 working days. You're always welcome to ask your photographer on the day for an estimate. They for sure will know!

Retouching - When will I receive the final product? Once you've confirmed your selection our editor is notified and will start the retouching process as soon as possible. - We advise that it may take up to 10 working days to receive the final product. - But more often than not you receive the much earlier.

Can I purchase additional retouched images? Of course, depending on your package you have a number of included retouches. For Example, the £150 headshot package comes with 3 retouched headshots. - If you need an extra simply select it on your gallery site and send a message via the built-in 'instant message' feature. - We will then produce an invoice for you for the additional image. Additional retouches are priced at £25 per retouch.

Can I request edits? On the selection page there is the option to add notes. - Please note the included retouches are natural retouchs as this is proven the best results, thus being the industry standard. - Our editors are experts on maying your imgage pop, but we welcome any request. - You are also welcome to email your request through.

Videography

When do I receive my first edit? That varies depending on the size of the project. Bespoke deals: Upon contract negotiations You Film, We Edit: Up to 10 working days, usually within 3! Showreels: Up to 10 working days. Wedding Videography: Up to 14 working days. You're always welcome to ask your videographer on the day for an estimate. They for sure will know!

Can I join you in the editing suite? Bespoke Videography including weddings: For the first edit, we ask that our editors get a chance to sit with the material for themselves. - But once we are ready to present the first cut, you are invited to either watch online from home, or to come to our North London Studio for an hour or two, working through the file and giving notes. This is to be arranged. This may vary depending on your package. Showreels: Unfortunately, you cannot join us in person, however, you will be provided with the draft and can give your notes and inputs to amendments. You Film, We Edit: Unfortunately, you cannot join us in person. The product will be delivered to you finished. It's possible to amend it/re-edit it for a small additional fee.

Music Production

Vocal/Voicereels; When will I receive the product? We ask the you allow up to 10 working days. - However, most clients receive it within just 48hours!

Vocal/Voicereels: Can I ask for a edit to be changed Of course you can. Please be adviced that the packages doesn't include re-edits, therefore, these are subject to an additional fee depending on the amount to edit. (Usually this lies around £25).

Bespoke music production (Incl. soundtrack, original compositions, SFX, Voice Overs, jingles, etc.) - When will I receive the first draft? This depends on the scale of the project and will be discussed in negotiations. For bigger projects like Soundtracks, you'll receive drafts continuously, usually after 14 working days. - However, this is subject to the agreed terms and conditions of the contract. Single compositions including jingles and voiceovers are usually ready within 3 working days, although we ask that you allow up to 5 working days.
